Son of five-time world hold up motorbike rider Mick Doohan, young Jack, is receiving his first stairs in motor racing – behind the circle of a go-kart.

JACK Doohan is still 8 years off his L plates, though he is already following in his critical father’s tyre tracks.

The son of five-time universe hold up motorbike rider Mick Doohan, immature Jack is receiving his first stairs in motor racingĀ  in a go-kart.

And like his dad, immature Jack is display plenty of early promise, winning two of his first 10 races, notwithstanding giving divided a two-year age opening to a little of his comparison rivals.

“When I grow up I want to be a Formula 1 driver,” pronounced the eight-year-old from his Gold Coast home.

“At this age, it’s just about carrying fun,” he said.

“Some people appear to take it as well seriously, though that’s not unequivocally what it’s about when they’re kids.”
