MOTORBIKE STUNT SCRAPPED FROM DRAGON TATTOO DUE TO LACK OF INSURANCE

Director David Fincher had to embankment skeleton to film a motorbike attempt stage with Rooney Mara and Daniel Craig for brand new thriller The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo because no insurance firm was peaceful to yield cover.
Mara stars as lead impression Lisbeth Salander in the Hollywood instrumentation of late Swedish writer Stieg Larsson’s Millennium Trilogy books, conflicting Craig as publisher Mikael Blomkvist.
The actress, who underwent a thespian earthy mutation for the role, was compulsory to take motorcycle lessons to sense how to drive the two-wheeler for the film, and she admits it was a single of the tougher final she faced for the shoot.
Mara says, “It was all severe though the motorcycle was the thing that I was the slightest vehement about doing. It seemed really dangerous to me.”
But Craig wasn’t rebuilt to bound on the behind of the motorbike with fresh motorist Mara – and Fincher’s hopes for the stage were utterly dashed when he struggled to benefit the capitulation of insurance bosses in box of any accidents.
Fincher explains, “We put her on the craft to go to Stockholm by herself for 5 weeks to sense how to float a motorcycle. We so desperately longed for to do a stage with Daniel on the behind of the motorcycle. (But) we couldn’t get insurance for that if Rooney was gonna drive!”
