MOTORBIKE RIDER SERIOUSLY INJURED IN CRASH

A 41-year-old Mount Pleasant man is dead after his motorbike strike a guardrail on the Torrens Valley Rd, in in in between Birdwood and Mount Pleasant today.
It was the 100th death on the state‘s roads this year.
The man was travelling north towards Mt Pleasant when he mislaid control on a unconditional left-hand hook and careered to the conflicting side of the road and strike the guardrail about 9.35am.
He catapulted over the rail whilst his 1980s Suzuki 850cc motorbike slid along the rail for about fifteen metres prior to interlude near the intersection of Black Snake Rd.
Police pronounced a single other car on the road at the time of the crash had no damage.
Torrens Valley Road is sealed to traffic in in in between Randell and Onkaparinga Valley roads with detours in place.
The highway fee was 118 at the same time final year.
