Motorbike rider critical after crash

A biker is in a critical condition in hospital after he was concerned in a collision with a automobile in Thatcham on Friday.
The crash happened at in Bath Road in between the Floral Way and Pipers Way roundabouts at around 7pm.
A black and splinter Skyjet motorcycle collided with a red Vauxhall Corsa on the Newbury-bound side of the carriageway.
The rider of the motorbike, a 40-year-old man from Reading, was taken to the JR2 Hospital in Oxford with vicious injuries and police contend he is in a vicious condition.
PC Melanie Todd, from the Three Mile Cross roads policing base, said: “I am penetrating to verbalise to any one who witnessed this incident.
“I am also penetrating to verbalise to the driver of a complicated products automobile that may have witnessed the motorcycle on the devious connection with Pipers Way just before to the collision.”
