HISTORIC MOTORBIKE COLLECTION STOLEN
A 77-year-old man has had $45,000 worth of very old motorbikes and engines stolen from his Hamilton home.
Police questioning the theft of three singular motorbikes and two display engines hold he was targeted by the raiders, who pennyless in only over a week ago.
Others with identical seductiveness in ancestral machine are being asked to pass any information about the theft to police.
“We’re anticipating that mechanics, gangling tools dealers, other collectors or even throw merchants all keep an eye, or an ear out for any information on the collection’s whereabouts,” pronounced Constable Wayne Shanks.
The pick up was estimated to be worth $45,000, and the equipment hold poignant nauseating worth to the owners who had a single bike for 60 years.
The stolen equipment were:
A 1928 500cc BSA engine cycle, registration 302XX
A 1951 500cc Norton engine cycle, no registration number
A 1926 Harley Davidson 350cc `Harley Pup’ motorcycle _ the smallest Harley model made
A 1933 Aerial 350cc arrangement engine
A Triumph `Tiger 70′ 250cc beyond valve arrangement engine.
