A CASTLEMILK office worker has been unfit from driving for a year after he was held on his motorbike at speeds up to 100mph.
Riccardo Favaretto (26), of Arnprior Road, was speckled by police speeding along the M74 main road on his Yamaha 600 on Jul 9 final year.
They followed him and could see he was driving over the speed extent and pulled him over.
At Glasgow Sheriff Court Favaretto pleaded guilty to driving dangerously at speeds up to 100mph on a 60mph road final Tuesday.
Sheriff Linda Ruxton unfit him from land or obtaining a looseness for twelve months and fined him £450.
She said: “The outcome of this self-assurance will be serious. It will have critical long-term consequences for you and your commercial operation and I take comment of that since the suspension part of the judgment will be a poignant low symbol in itself.
“I do take into comment you have limited monetary resources and I take comment you have tendered a plea though the prerequisite of this make a difference starting to trial.”
Favaretto contingency also sit an extended driving exam before he can acquire a licence.
The justice listened Favaretto took over the family phony commercial operation after his father upheld away in 2008 was out on his bike around 8.50pm when he was seen by officers.
Procurator mercantile entrust Dorothy Roy told the justice that inside of the police car they had a propitious calibrated speedometer.
She pronounced police speckled the motorcycle pushing at extreme speeds, overtaking another car and relocating from lane to lane.
Police followed Favaretto and pulled him over, he done no reply to counsel and charge.
It was pronounced on his interest that he does not have his bike any more though that when he did he rode it at the weekends as a hobby.
