A Chrysler 300C once owned by afterwards Sen. Barack Obama has been listed for sale on eBay. The starting bid is $1 million — 66 times the vehicle’s blue book value.

President Barack Obama’s automobile is for sale.

No, we’re not articulate about the armored limousine he cruises around Washington, D.C., in. Even if the bill is tight, the U.S. supervision hasn’t stooped that low. In fact, the automobile in question isn’t even a new model.

This automobile is a 2005 Chrysler 300C that Obama used to drive around when he was behind in Chicago whilst still only the youth U.S. senator from Illinois. And the stream owners is perplexing to sell it on eBay.

The asking price? $1,000,000.

Ryan Porter, who writes for Celebrity Cars Blog, said the story the automobile has with Obama is nice, though it doesn’t make it worth $1 million. According to Kelly Blue Book, a 300C with all of the options, in glorious condition with low-mileage, would be value small more than $15,000.

“When it comes to the Blue Book, it should add nothing. In a great world, may be stand in the price,” Porter said.

But the automobile was popular, and not only with politicians in the midst 2000s.

“It’s not a Bentley, though for the time when he owned it, this was a unequivocally popular car,” Porter said. “The funny thing is, this automobile was done really renouned in song videos. It was a prohibited automobile for athletes to have. It’s a good-looking car. But people did review it to Bentleys.”

The automobile was listed on eBay before long after Obama’s coronation and was bid up to $100 million by feign bidders, Porter said.

“This has happened as well many times,” Porter said. “Things go on eBay, and subsequent thing you know feign bids are entrance in left and right.”

While bids can go up, there’s no reason to consider they’d legitimately strech $1 million, let alone $100 million, Porter said.

There are no bids on the automobile at this time.
