(CNN) — Two automobile bombs exploded Wednesday in an outside marketplace in northern Iraq, murdering four people and wounding 27, a internal executive told CNN.
The mayor of the locale of Tal Afar, about 70 kilometers west of Mosul, told CNN that the initial explosion caused couple of injures.
But when residents collected to assistance the wounded, a second automobile bomb went off, inflicting many of the damage, Mayor Najim Mohammed said.
Tal Afar has a churned race of Arab, Kurds and Turkmen.
