AN ELDERLY French integrate were killed instantly when their Harley-Davidson motorbike skidded and went out of control starting around a slight hook on a person arriving route final summer.

Michel and Jacqueline Lacave from Pontvallain in Pays de La Loire in northwest France were conspicuous dead at the stage of the incident on the Galway-Clare limit on Jul 5th final year.

An inquisition in Galway yesterday listened how Mr Lacave (77) mislaid control of the vast motorbike on a hairpin hook prior to crashing into an approaching car.

His mother Jacqueline, who had distinguished her 69th birthday the prior day, was a passenger and she was also conspicuous dead at the scene. The integrate were on holidays in Ireland.

The crash happened at Roo Demesne in between Kinvara and Ballyvaughan.

Paul Cuffe told the inquisition he was travelling home to Wicklow with his family and how the motorbike skidded around a hook on the wrong side of the road and crashed into his car. He called the puncture services and went to the benefit of the motorcyclists though he could discuss it they were dead.

Coroner Dr Ciaran McLoughlin pronounced the situation had happened on a hairpin hook and the motorcyclist would simply have mislaid control travelling at any speed.
