ACCUSED'S CAR 'NEAR MURDER SCENE'

The automobile of a man accused of murdering Constable Stephen Carroll was parked close to where the gunman dismissed from, a court has heard.
Witness K, a navigation dilettante operative who gave justification from at the back of a screen, pronounced a tracking device showed John Paul Wootton’s car’s location.
Constable Carroll was the first PSNI officer to be murdered when he was shot dead in Craigavon in March 2009.
Mr Wootton, 20, and Brendan McConville, 40, both repudiate the murder.
Witness K pronounced he carefully thought about interpretation from a GPS tracking device which the Army had dark on Mr Wootton’s car.
He pronounced he had carefully thought about more than 150 place fixes from the device and at the time of the murder the automobile was still on the Drumbeg estate, which is tighten to the murder scene.
He also pronounced the interpretation suggested that twenty mins after the shooting the automobile was near Mr McConville’s home.
Charged along with Mr McConville, from Glenholme Avenue, Craigavon and Mr Wootton, 20, of Collindale, Lurgan, are Mr Wootton’s 48-year-old mom Sharon, of the same address.
She denies perverting the march of justice.
